March 10/24 - Releasing March 29th!

Hello everyone! I am excited to announce that Cosmantic Cluster is releasing on March 29th! It’s been a long journey getting to this point, but we are reaching the end goal. I wanted to thank everyone who has wish listed the game so far. And everyone who has worked on the game or play tested for us! Your support means the world to us. Besides doing some fine tuning behind the scenes, we have been releasing short videos on our social media accounts. These shorts contain character bios, information on various aspects of the game and soundtrack releases! We will be posting something every day until release so look forward to them. Down below is week ones video’s, so check them out if you haven’t already.

Until next time!

Week 1

Nov 14/23 - Update on the game!

Greetings I hope everyone is well. Today I will be discussing everything thats happened so far since my last post. For starters I will say a Demo is currently available for Cosmantic Cluster! You can download it for free on our Steam page and its available on Windows, MAC and Linux! Give it a go and tell us your thoughts on our Steam page or Discord server! We want to make the game the best it can be, so we welcome all kinds of feedback.

In September we commissioned a couple play testers and were given lots of valuable feedback. There was lots of positivity for the gameplay, characters, voice acting, music, animations and visuals of the game. On the other side people mentioned wanting more control options. The tutorial could use some clarification and reworking. Certain UI elements could be improved. Some adjustments here and there and of course bugs. I want to take this moment to thank everyone who play tested! There were lots of different things noticed from a variety of people. Your insights are not going unnoticed as I will explain later in this post.

October was Steam Next Fest. The fest was a great opportunity for us and a valuable learning experience in marketing. I can say that the number of wish lists we had for the game, doubled by the time the fest ended. I want to thank everyone who wish listed and is patiently waiting for the the release of Cosmantic Cluster! I was personally surprised by how many entry’s there were. There were many interesting and fun looking games to try and see.

For the rest of October and November we have been fixing bugs and implementing changes. Players can now choose from a couple different control schemes. There is also now game pad support! Many UI elements are being updated as we speak. The tutorial is being updated and we are including a new tip section. The tip section will be in the form of a diary with some story and lore mixed in. We are also looking into difficulty adjustments and game balancing, since some players found the normal difficulty too hard.

Our current goal is to go through the full game and implement the changes. Then I want to have another round of play testing, this time with the full game. After that we will make final adjustments and squash any final bugs. Then we plan to release the full game. Ideally we want to release before the end of the year. But it may leak into early 2024 depending on things go. If any major changes happen I will update here and on our Steam page.

Thanks again everyone and I hope you look forward to more updates!
